Shape conference 2019

Friday, 22 November 2019

On Thursday 21st November, many of the children who attended our community club last year, as well as some new children, presented our idea of launching a family baking club in school. The children discussed how we would spend our funding and how our idea is sustainable. The children spoke about the importance of using our sustainable school garden to grow vegetables, how the baking club could help to develop a wide variety of skills and our future ideas for a St Philip’s recipe book celebrating our diverse school community.

Well done children, you presented our project in a professional manner and answered any questions with confidence. You are a credit to us!

We look forward to seeing the impact made by our wonderful team of Junior PCSOs!

All Souls Collective Worship

Wednesday, 6 November 2019

Our wonderful Mission Team prepared and led our whole school in a very solemn worship service this morning as we reflected on November being the month of Holy Souls. We listened to scripture, engaged in silent prayer and took forth with us the message to continue to pray for Holy Souls throughout November. Our Mission Team have also prepared a Remembrance basket for children to offer a prayer for those who have died throughout this month.

‘Blessed are those who die in the Lord.’
