Katie Stainton visit

Monday, 17 December 2018

On Friday 14th December, our children were visited by athlete Katie Stainton. Katie recently competed in the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast of Australia.

Katie spoke to the children about her resilience to overcome a devastating injury and her dedication to her training regime, which very much inspired our children!

During the visit, the children raised £312.65 in sponsorship money  – wow!

It was lovely to hear Katie say how impressed she was with the children and that she would love to come and visit us again. Well done children.

Brushstrokes shoebox appeal

Monday, 10 December 2018

Some of our children, along with Mr Padotan and Miss Anslow, today delivered many shoeboxes full of thoughtful gifts to Brushstrokes.

Brushstrokes will distribute the shoeboxes to children to be opened on Christmas Day.

Thank you to all of our children and families for being so generous to donate the gifts, and to Mr Padotan and Miss Anslow for co-ordinating this initiative where we are truly living our school’s mission ‘Learning and working together through Christ.’
